The Leads dashboard
Search, filter and export the people who filled in your quiz forms. See what the detail panel shows, what the CSV contains, and what deleting removes.
The Leads screen lists everyone who submitted a quiz form. Open it from Quiz Builder, then Leads. The heading reads “Leads” with the subtitle “Every form submission captured across your quizzes”, plus a counter such as “N leads total”.
Only administrators can open it.
Table columns
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| The lead’s email. A small badge shows the UTM source and medium when they were present | |
| Quiz | Which quiz the lead came from. Hidden when you filter to a single quiz |
| Name | The name they entered, if any |
| Submitted at | When the form was submitted |
| Sync status | Left over from integrations. It stays empty in the free plugin |
Each row also has two actions: View submission detail and Delete lead.
The list shows 20 leads per page. Use the arrows to move between pages. The range is shown as “x-y of N”.
Search and filter
Use the filters across the top of the screen.
- Search by email… matches on email only. Results update as you type.
- The quiz picker starts on All quizzes. Type in Search quizzes… to find one. It lists the first 100 quizzes.
- From and To set a date range.
Active filters appear as chips you can remove one at a time, and Clear all removes them all. If nothing matches, you see “No leads match your filters”. With no leads at all, you see “No leads yet”.
The detail panel
Click a row, or use View submission detail, to open the Lead detail side panel.
| Section | Contents |
|---|---|
| Contact | Email, name, phone if any, submitted date, GDPR consent (Yes or No), and Double opt-in (Verified or Pending, shown only when the quiz used double opt-in) |
| Quiz result | The quiz and its type, the score, the result title and description, the completed date, and UTM parameters |
| Answers | Every answer, numbered, with the question type, chosen options, typed text, correct and incorrect marks for trivia, and time spent |
About the answers
The panel shows the lead’s latest completed submission. If the person took the quiz several times, you see the most recent finished run. If they filled in the form but never finished, there may be no result or answers to show.
UTM parameters
When a visitor arrives from a link that includes UTM tags, Quizably keeps up to five of them: utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term and utm_content. They appear in the detail panel, and the source and medium appear as a badge on the row. The tags are only shown for people who became leads.
Export to CSV
Click Export CSV to download the leads that match your current filters. The button is disabled when the list is empty.
The columns, in this order:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
id | The lead’s ID |
email | Email address |
name | Name |
phone | Phone (empty in the free form) |
consent_gdpr | 1 if the consent box was ticked, otherwise 0 |
created_at | When the lead was created |
quiz_id, quiz_title | The quiz the lead came from |
result_title, score | The result and score from the lead’s latest completed run (or latest run of any status) |
double_optin_status | not_required, pending or verified |
utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content | UTM tags kept from the visit |
extra_<key> | One column for each custom form field found in the export |
| One column per question | The question title is the header. Choice questions list the chosen options joined with ”; ”. Rating and text questions hold the value. Unanswered is blank |
The first six columns never change position. The question columns cover every quiz in the export, so an export across several quizzes has more columns, and a lead has blanks for questions from other quizzes.
The filename is leads-<date>-all.csv, or leads-<date>-<quizId>.csv when you filtered to one quiz. The export covers every matching lead, not just the page you are looking at.
Cells that start with =, +, - or @ (or a tab or carriage return) get a leading apostrophe, so a spreadsheet does not run them as a formula. You may see that apostrophe in a cell that a visitor typed that way.
The Leads list includes leads that are still waiting for double opt-in confirmation. They show pending in the CSV.
Delete a lead
- Click Delete lead on the row.
- Confirm the prompt “Delete this lead? This cannot be undone.”
- A “Lead deleted” message confirms it.
Deleting removes the lead record (email, name, consent and so on) and nothing more. The visitor’s quiz submission remains. It keeps the answers, the result, the score, a hashed version of the visitor’s address, the browser information and UTM tags, but it is no longer linked to a person. Your analytics counts are unchanged, apart from the lead totals.
There is no bulk delete and no way to edit a lead. To delete a quiz and everything attached to it, use Delete on the quiz list, which removes its submissions and leads for good.
Note: The plugin does not connect to the WordPress personal data export and erasure tools. If someone asks you to erase their data, delete their lead here.
